Hair care

1. Gentle Washing: Use a mild, sulfate-free shampoo to wash the hair. Sulfates can strip the hair of its natural oils, leading to dryness. Wash the hair in a downward motion to avoid tangling.

2. Conditioning: Always use a good quality conditioner after shampooing. This helps to keep the hair soft, manageable, and hydrated. Leave the conditioner on for a few minutes before rinsing for deeper nourishment.

3. Avoid Heat Styling: Excessive heat can damage raw Indian hair. If you must use heat styling tools, use a heat protectant and keep the temperature low. Air drying is preferable to using a blow dryer.

4. Detangling: Gently detangle the hair with a wide-tooth comb or a detangling brush, starting from the ends and working your way up to the roots. This reduces breakage and shedding.

5. Moisturizing: Raw Indian hair can benefit from light oils or leave-in conditioners to maintain moisture. Natural oils like coconut, argan, or jojoba oil can be used sparingly to add shine and softness.

6. Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Stay away from hair products that contain alcohol, parabens, and other harsh chemicals as they can damage the hair.

7. Protective Styling: When not in use, store the hair properly. If it’s a wig or extensions, keep them on a mannequin head or in a silk or satin bag to prevent tangling and maintain the hair’s shape.

8.Night Care: If you’re wearing the hair as extensions, braid it or put it in a loose ponytail before sleeping, and use a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction and prevent tangling.

9. Minimal Product Use: Avoid overloading the hair with too many styling products, as this can lead to build-up and make the hair look dull.

10. Hydration Mask: Should be used on your extensions once a week to maintain it’s longevity and natural luster
